While our plugin is readily avaiable and user-friendly, there are a few steps required to start using this service. Check our requirements tab for more detailed information.
- FAC / PowerTranz merchant account — Live or sandbox credentials from PowerTranz/First Atlantic Commerce.
- Merchant acquiring bank account — An active merchant account with your chosen bank for settlement.
- WordPress + WooCommerce with SSL — Latest versions installed and HTTPS enabled.
- Purchase & download the WebHead CaribPay Gateway zip.
- In WordPress go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, select the zip, Install and Activate.
- Open WooCommerce → Settings → Payments → WebHead CaribPay (PowerTranz) and click Manage/Set up.
- Enter your credentials: FAC Merchant ID, FAC Processing Password, PowerTranz ID (username) and PowerTranz Password. Turn Sandbox Mode on for testing.
- Choose your checkout flow: Inline card fields or Hosted Payment Page (HPP), and enable 3D Secure (FAC 3DS2).
- HPP only: copy the Callback/Return URL shown in the settings and add it to your PowerTranz/FAC profile.
- Configure card brands, order status behavior, and logging, then Save changes.
- Place a sandbox test order. When everything checks out, switch Sandbox Mode off to go live.
- Do you have a refund policy?
