Checkout Flow: Inline vs Hosted (HPP)

Pick how customers enter card details: Inline (stays on your site, seamless) or HPP (Hosted Payment Page for simpler PCI). Both support 3D Secure; HPP also needs a Callback/Return URL so orders update correctly.

Inline (On-site)

  • Pros: Seamless, matches your theme, no redirect.
  • Note: Follow PCI best practices.
  • Enable: In plugin settings, disable “Use Hosted Payment Page (HPP)”.

HPP (Hosted Payment Page)

  • Pros: PCI-friendlier; 3D Secure handled on the hosted page.
  • Note: Customer leaves your site briefly, then returns.
  • Enable: In plugin settings, enable “Use Hosted Payment Page (HPP)”.
  • Don’t forget: Set the Return/Callback URL (see Article 2).
